Katie Mintle is a multimedia artist based in Arvada, Colorado. Born in the foothills of Boulder, mountains are a common theme in her work. Though heavily influenced by nature and iconic artists like Georgia O’Keeffe, Katie prefers to work primarily from imagination and improvisation. It’s not uncommon for her paintings to change direction several times from start to finish. Every painting starts with an unshakable urge to paint, and every image is formed with a desire to harmonize the ideas that come.

Katie is also a singer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist. She has been performing music since 2007, busking with her little harp on the streets of Boulder since she was 11 years old. Her unique brand of entertainment fuses celtic harp and acoustic guitar music with haunting vocals to tell engaging stories and create a beautiful and soothing atmosphere.
