ABOUT THE ARTIST

Katie is a born and raised Colorado artist and singer/songwriter. She first fell in love with celtic music at age 11 and enrolled in private harp lessons. She began performing her music almost immediately thereafter, busking on the streets of Boulder as a child with her little harp, rain or shine. Though music has been a part of her life since she was very young, singing and songwriting is a more recent passion. Katie began singing harmonies in 2020 during lockdown and has been singing professionally ever since.

Drawing and painting has also been a lifelong passion. Her work is greatly inspired by nature, especially the towering Rocky Mountains of her home. Today she primarily works in acrylic paint to create her imaginary landscapes. Katie graduated with a BFA from Cornell College in 2018, winning the distinguishing Kimmel Award for painting in her graduating class.
